- Deployed AI Engineer @ Helsing (2023-07 – today)

- Senior Backend Engineer / Tech Lead @ Thought Machine (2022-05 – 2023-07): Expert on large scale data migrations within TM. Led a cross-department initiative to tackle cost-related challenges, similar to a FinOps responsibility.

- Engineering Manager @ Thought Machine (2021-10 – 2022-05): Leading the Migrations and Configuration Management team, as well as a couple of critical workstreams within Thought Machine.  Created an environment of cooperation with various stakeholders outside of the team to great results, almost exclusively through remote means.   Helped support massive-scale data migrations for clients, with peak reliability.

- Tech Lead Manager @ Thought Machine (2020-09 – 2021-10): Leading the Migrations team, responsible for the components aiding data migration to Vault (Thought Machine's core banking platform offering).  Team consistently surpassed performance targets, sometimes many months in advance, while maintaining a high level of reliability and even aiding other teams in their journeys.  Managed to create pipelines for communication, both within the team and with external stakeholders, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.

- Back End Engineer @ Thought Machine (2019-04 – 2020-09): Part of the Kernel team working on Vault (core banking platform for all sizes and scopes of bank). Responsible with maintaining and extending core elements of Vault as part of the Accounts team, as well as designing and implementing a major edge service.   Chair of the internal group handling low and medium level decisions regarding uses of the Go programming language.   Involved in improving internal tooling, with the goal of saving engineers as much time as possible during development.   Started and led the company public speaking courses, with inspiration taken from Toastmasters structure, but with significant changes to better cater to the company environment and culture.

- AI Expert @ NMT Group (2018-09 – 2019-02): Main programmer for a startup specialising in developing machine learning tools for use by legal teams within various companies.  Tasked with developing the web portal, as well as computer vision and machine learning based tools for solving tasks normally done manually by people. Also handled the deployment of all software solutions to Azure. Focused on scalable code, with clear differentiation between functionality and presentation.

- Graduate Lab Assistant - Extreme Programming and Large Scale Systems @ University of Essex (2015-10 – 2018-01): Responsible with overseeing and helping students with the practical elements of a course specialising in XP practices, test-driven development and project management. Also involved in marking students based on their performance during the course.

- Balancing and AI Consultant @ MindArk PE AB (2016-08 – 2016-09): Worked with Mindark Sweden to see if and how my research can be applied to their games, while also offering insight into the current state of artificial intelligence.

- Freelance Developer @ Self-Employed (2010-06 – 2014-09): Did various freelance work for clients, ranging from fixing websites to developing modules for software and offering advice on available technology. Given a clear requirement, be it for a website or a piece of software, I would offer a time estimate and cost, to then go on to develop it, with utmost care for the client's requests and with high quality deliverables.  Most of the work consisted of PHP, C#, Drupal and Joomla.

- Experimental Programming / Network Assistance Frontrunner @ ESSEXLab (2014-01 – 2014-06): Implemented various experiments in the Ztree language.  Helped with various upgrades and features for the lab's Ruby on Rails based website.

- Screencast Frontrunner @ IT Training and Engagement - University of Essex (2013-09 – 2014-01): I was responsible with designing and creating video presentations and tutorials of various university tools and services.

- FLDP Intern @ Barclays (2012-06 – 2012-07): Future Leaders Development Programme Technology Intern within the Customer Experience team.

- Student Representative @ University of Essex (2010-11 – 2012-07): Volunteered as a student rep for the course and year in order to represent fellow colleagues in the Staff-Student Liaison Committee.

- IT and Survey Design @ Dynamo Initiative (2010-11 – 2011-05): Responsible for everything IT related, from deciding on online services to use, software to use and implementing the online version of the survey to designing and developing software for choosing winners of the survey prize.  Also part of the team responsible with designing the survey itself.
