## A quick word about international news and media.

Most of them misreport events as experienced by those who were there. I have lived in France for decades. Some media have mentioned "weeks of rioting in France" which is completely false. There was a peaceful demonstration on Saturday. As usually happens, thugs came in and joined and started violent actions and vandalism. Then criminals came and begn looting and more destruction. The worst damage was caused came the troublemakers who are just as likely likely right wing provocateurs. The presidential elections are a few months away, and the extreme right RN party is gaining much support due to billionaire-owned media and possibly other states.

Trust no one when it comes to information.

We wondered about this while viewing the dramatic reports on German TV. The coverage suggests the center of Paris is burning.
