A cornerstone of the French-speaking Free Software community since 1998. LinuxFr.org is a volunteer-run, non-profit platform dedicated to Open Source, Open Hardware, and Digital Commons. Operating on a strict “by the community, for the community” model, the platform is: - Community-Driven: 100% user-generated content with collaborative writing and peer moderation. - Independent: Funded solely by donations, managed by volunteers, and self-hosted on custom open-source tools (AGPL). - Key Hub: The central reference for news, debates, and technical knowledge sharing within the Francophone FLOSS ecosystem.
