Since only real humans should create normal accounts we need a way to handle companies and other organizations. That is what organizations do. So a human account creates an organization and can add other users to that organization to share workload. So multiple humans can e.g. create posts for one organization.

I am not too familiar with LinkedIn. So I do not know it this is comparable with pages.

Where do it appears on my personal profile that I belong to an org ?

It is comparable to a LinkedIn page ?
