Description

Software designer and C++ developer in the so-called “Methodenteam” (Think Tank Department)
■ Development of new mathematical methods for engine control unit (ECU) calibration
■ Requirements management and communication with internal and external customers
■ Development of concepts for optimization methods based on large data sets, evaluation of vehicle and test bench measurement data and computation of ECU calibration data
■ Design, implementation and maintenance of several software tools with graphical user interface (MFC / Visual Studio .NET 2003 - 2010) which support and automate the ECU calibration process, e.g. a high resolution pattern recognition engine measurement analysis program for cold start analysis and a universal tool for 3D measurement and calibration data visualization (based on OpenGL) and calculation utilities for the prediction of ECU behaviour (including scripting automation)
■ Management of pilot projects and one of three lead appraisal projects for software quality assurance within the certification process for CMMI level 2 (now certified by SEI) and higher
■ Development and optimization of standardized workflows for automotive measurement technologies, testing and selection of measurement equipment
■ Scientific management and training of employees for the application of state-of-the-art measurement technology and in-house software tools. Production of training materials
