wifor – Working Student in IT Support As a working student at wifor, I assisted with server administration, website maintenance and development, as well as IT support for Microsoft Office and networks. Server Administration I helped maintain servers through regular backups, simple configurations, and monitoring for failures. I supported updates and basic troubleshooting to ensure stable operations. Website Maintenance and Development I maintained existing websites with adjustments using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, content updates, and smaller feature developments. I ensured functionality and adherence to current security standards. IT Support I served as the first point of contact for user issues: assistance with Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Excel), setup, and troubleshooting. Network support included connection checks, Wi-Fi configurations, and basic hardware questions. Practical Learning Experiences Through these activities, I gained initial practical experience in IT operations, from ticket handling to team coordination. The result: quick problem resolution and contributions to smooth workflows. This student role built solid basics in server management, web maintenance, and support, which I expanded in later projects.
