Calcott Hall, also known as Red Dress Manor, in Wales. A long-abandoned house, abandoned since the 1970s when the last resident is thought to have passed away.
🏚️An abandoned house somewhere in rural England, largely untouched since its last occupant left.
The house features a traditional vintage English bedroom. The decor is a mix of 1940s/1950s items. There are numerous clocks and pocket watches, as well as a vintage Jones sewing machine.
🧸 There is something about a children’s teddy bear, left alone in an abandoned place. This one I found inside an abandoned chateau in France, patiently waiting for his owners to return.

🏰 Château Secession, an abandoned chateau in France that appears filled with relics. Enigmatic and atmospheric, right?
Well, not quite. The collection seems to be a hobbyist’s personal trove of cheap props and tat, rather than priceless artefacts. For example, the “cannon” was just a pipe balanced on some old cart wheels. The samurai sword was a cheap plastic child’s toy, and the globe was likewise a modern trinket.
