When AI took over, the world became stuck at the knowledge level of 2020. It couldn’t move beyond, due to the risk of poisoning the well. This was seen by quite some elected politicians and investors as a good thing. Science stopped progressing. People became passive. There was nothing new to discover. Humanity was stuck. But a few persisted. They had books. They had communication networks that couldn’t be seen by the AI crawlers. They are our only hope.
