went to pick some stuff at one of the finbro owned fake grocery stores. i ask the 2 cashiers and a young (yt) lady by me, did you #vote? they’re all zoomers. the 2 cashiers, young WOCs, say they can’t. the yt one says nothing.
so i said, “well, i voted for the two of you. because you can’t today but i do want you to some day.”
yt chick scurries away. the 3 of us smile, knowingly, and we say our goodbyes.
FWIW i know zoomers are USA’s first majority POC generation.

Staying distracted by working under a blanket in my pajamas with multiple dogs on my lap. Petting dogs is a gift. For both parties.

My family voted over a week ago. Our family of seven (+1 boyfriend) got together to eat and fill out our ballots together. Then I dropped all 8 into a ballot box. That’s zero-republican votes x 8. 💪🏻

I've been seeing some "no difference" today. Yes, there is a huge, glaring difference; no, no one is perfect. If your Dem candidate isn't Dem enough for you, make sure you vote and support someone else in the next primaries.

Yesterday:
Meta closed the No Kings accounts on the day of the protest. Restored them later, saying “our bad.” But did not restore admin privileges.
We learned that millions of people had no idea about the protests because Meta suppressed posts about it.
Bluesky closed the @DemocracyMattersALot@mstdn.social account for “unusual activity.” (No idea if it has been restored.)
And for months we’ve been watching the fascists do everything in their power to restrict voting rights.
The billionaires know they’re the minority. Not economically (which is obvious) but ethically. Otherwise they wouldn’t be working so hard to stop democracy.
I wanna believe most Americans are good people. We’re fighting for what’s right. But our enemy has massive resources and control. That what we need to quell.
Keep fighting. Stay vigilant. And for fuck’s sake, vote!
