I originally made this for the #WikiEulenOrchester performance at #WikiCon #WikiCon26, where we played a version of „Skandal im Sperrbezirk“ – the piano score I got had the accompaniment fully written out, which was very useful in order to learn it

but also it ran to six pages, and the gist of the accompaniment became clear pretty soon, so I made myself a condensed version for the actual performance ^^

but I wanted the measure numbers to still be the same, so that’s what this command is for :)

a piano score with many many eighth notes – a bass note (two measures of E, two measures of D etc.) in the left hand, and chords (a d e, a c♯ e, a b e, a c♯ e, repeat; then the same transposed one full note down, etc.) in the right hand

just one copy of the base note and right hand chord (the first chord, i.e. a d e); then another bar with already the next note + chord (in reality these “bars” are two bars long each, hence the command in the snippet), and so on, except two bars at the end are fully written out again because there’s more interesting rhythm there
