I’ve spent way too much time playing around with things on these #xteink devices over the last two weeks. It’s been fun, but I’ll have to move on to some other things for a while. I might be back to these for December Adventure though.
I uploaded my #uxn variations for the x4, x3, and x4 pro to qrvhu.org and will post my #ilo ports for these soon.
The x4 pro has proven to be very useful. I like the physical buttons on the other models, but the touchscreen has let me implement a few keyboard layouts and ilo’s pointer device, so my experiments with the extended devices are mostly being done on the device. It’s pretty neat to have a fully programmable stack computer in my pocket, and I have a variety of things planned for it.
I do want to find something similar, but more open, better documented, and ideally more easily repaired as these things are fragile.
