I build software products and developer tools through Optimum Tech, LLC. My current focus is Kogen, an open-source software-building system in development around feature shaping, explicit approval, implementation, checks, and independent review.

From 2022 to January 2026, I also led Optimum BH, an Elixir/Phoenix agency, owning delivery, technical direction, client communication, team development, code review, CI/CD, preview environments, deployment automation, and reusable developer tooling.

Built an Elixir/Phoenix proof of concept for a workflow platform for creators, storytellers, and marketers; took it through MVP to production and continued as co-founder and technical lead.

Worked on a pan-African remittances fintech, implementing features in a large PHP application using domain-driven design and test-driven development while improving and modernising legacy code.

Delivered client projects for an outsourcing and consulting firm using Ruby on Rails and JavaScript.

Built a content marketing and social account management platform using PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript, including third-party API integrations, analytics, and SQL query optimisation.

Long-running remote contract work across Elixir backends, embedded networking, real-time IoT analytics, APIs, and developer infrastructure. Highlights include implementing WPA3 support for Nerves on Raspberry Pi 4 and multi-year ownership of production Elixir systems.
