@jockr@mastodon.social There are 2 public #Canadian #Deltachat servers that can be signed up to, here and now. One is toque.im, the other is chtml.ca.
Once one is signed up for (creating a new account doesn’t require your email, phone number, name, nothing like that), the second can be added as a backup “relay” server, and it’ll automatically fail over, should the first server ever go down.
It’s free, there are no ads, and encryption is automatic and mandatory. For #dataSovereignty, it’s a great start. #Canada #ElbowsUp
