Hey gang, we’ve reached that point in the timeline when soap is delivering pathogens that can kill you. Because of course we are.
Actually, the chance of bacterial contamination in liquid soap is much higher than you might think. It’s one reason my soap company didn’t manufacture it.
Liquid detergents, which aren’t really “soap”, rely on preservatives to prevent germs from growing. If raw ingredients (like water or botanical extracts) are pre-contaminated, or if facility machinery isn’t properly sanitized, bacteria can enter the batch during production. Because the water ratio is so high, if the formula uses a weak preservative system or is highly diluted, the bacteria will multiply inside the bottle instead of being killed.
So when you pump foamy goo, it’s can be a slime of billions of killer pathogens. The Future is so much fun! Anyway, if you have these brands, dispose of them asap.
