๐Ÿ”ฅOur history, going up in flames! What is happening in the UK? Fires are destroying so many of our historical Victoria mills.

Dalton Mills in Keighley had yet another โ€œmysteriousโ€ fire a few weeks ago. I explored this spot a few years ago, now all this history is lost.

For future generations, I worry how much will be left of our British industrial heritage.

Edendork Dance Hall was once a popular social venue during the Irish showband era between the 1960s and mid-1980s.

A grand blue dome hangs above the empty dance floor, and a lone microphone stands on the decaying stage.

Once a lively venue, it is now out of fashion and out of time. It has been demolished since my visit; now only photos remain.

๐Ÿ”ฅThe Kings Hall Methodist Church, in Southall (London). Built in 1916, left abandoned in 2013, and lost to a devastating fire in 2026.

This place has now been erased, and only photos remain. I was lucky enough to explore inside in 2022; although decaying, this place was still so beautiful ๐Ÿฉต.

Rotting ballroom and roadside inn, for decades she was one of the main social venues in Gรคrtitz, Germany. Demolished around 2022.
