๐ฅOur history, going up in flames! What is happening in the UK? Fires are destroying so many of our historical Victoria mills.
Dalton Mills in Keighley had yet another โmysteriousโ fire a few weeks ago. I explored this spot a few years ago, now all this history is lost.
For future generations, I worry how much will be left of our British industrial heritage.

Edendork Dance Hall was once a popular social venue during the Irish showband era between the 1960s and mid-1980s.
A grand blue dome hangs above the empty dance floor, and a lone microphone stands on the decaying stage.
Once a lively venue, it is now out of fashion and out of time. It has been demolished since my visit; now only photos remain.

๐โข๏ธ This supermarket stands frozen in time following the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster. Located within the exclusion zone, it was evacuated without warning and has remained untouched since.

๐ฅThe Kings Hall Methodist Church, in Southall (London). Built in 1916, left abandoned in 2013, and lost to a devastating fire in 2026.
This place has now been erased, and only photos remain. I was lucky enough to explore inside in 2022; although decaying, this place was still so beautiful ๐ฉต.
