🎭 Bringing down the house. A collapsing theatre I explored a few years ago, somewhere in Italy

Industrial ruins, a delightful mixture of shapes and shadows. Some look like faces; some look like animals. What shapes and forms does your unique imagination see in these scenes?

⛪ An abandoned chapel, somewhere in the north of France.

A large timber frame supports a collapsing ceiling; it now bears the weight of the stone arch and the roof above.

A small sapling grows from the ground in front of the altar. By some miracle nature has found a way inside and is thriving!

Rotting ballroom and roadside inn, for decades she was one of the main social venues in Gärtitz, Germany. Demolished around 2022.

⛪️🇵🇹 A small but pretty abandoned chapel ruin, somewhere in Portugal

An abandoned Roman Catholic church in northern England. Constructed in the 1960s during a period of transition within the Catholic Church, the design features contemporary architecture and beautiful glasswork.

On the western wall, a dalle de verre features coloured glass set into a concrete frame depicting religious iconography.

The church closed nearly 15 years ago; the failing roof needs costly repairs,
