📻 Yesterday I recorded my monthly segment for Libre à vous ! (libreavous.org), the radio show from @aprilorg@pouet.april.org, the French free software advocacy association.
It airs live every Tuesday from 3:30 to 5 pm on Radio Cause Commune (93.1 FM and DAB+ in the Paris area, and worldwide on the radio’s website).
Free software news, April’s political and legal work, guests, and music under free licenses: it’s made for everyone, whether you’ve never heard of free software or you’re an expert.

This week’s show was hosted by @frederic@pouet.couchet.org.

The “Café Libre” discussion brought together @maudroyer@mastodon.social, @pb@mast.eu.org and @vincentcalame@piaille.fr.

In his own segment, @luk_@mas.to made a clever parallel with “The Emperor’s New Clothes”.

My topic: let’s free social networks! And one of the things I talked about: VUTUV.

I discovered it last week at the Berlin FediDay 2026, held at c-base, where it was presented by its creator, @wintermeyer.
It’s something I had been waiting for a very long time: a free, open source and federated alternative to LinkedIn.
A place where you don’t have to hide your links in the comments to please an algorithm.

Honestly, it’s extraordinary. It’s functionally very rich, and I really like it.
