We are thrilled to present this episode on @postmarketOS@treehouse.systems ๐Ÿ“ฑ

Weโ€™ve taken the time to produce this in-depth interview as part of our series on #mobilelinux to tell the story behind #postmarketOS โ€” how it works and its governance structure.

This project is especially close to our hearts, and this episode highlights the human and organizational aspects of the project.

A huge thank you to @RannyBergamotte@garudalinux.org and @ayakael@agora.ilot.io for joining us!

Thanks to Ranny for completely rewriting the English translation.

Iโ€™m thinking about offering some informal mentoring to someone who wants to get into #postmarketOS development (packaging, #duranium) or other projects Iโ€™m heavily involved with. Iโ€™ve been contributing to pmOS for a while, and Iโ€™m happy to help someone get unstuck. In return Iโ€™d ask for patience (I make mistakes and I donโ€™t have infinite time), and some self-motivation and comfort with Linux, the command line, and git. Would anyone be interested in this?

Hello Iโ€™m calling you from Linux 7.1.0-rc1-sdm845 and all I had to do was putting a SIM card into the sim slot.

#postmarketOS is just insane nowadays

Screenshot of GNOME Settings on a phone. showing ModemManager Modem Details page. It shows the modem connected to o2 - de with lte in roaming mode.
Screenshot of a Welcome SMS from sipgate tellingg me my device was set up successfully.
Screenshot of Firefox on a phone displaying ip.clerie.de and a IPv4 address of the sipgate NAT pool verifying that mobile data works. (IPv6 isn't implemented by the provider so it shows an error)

Had a dream last night that I accidentally stuck a USB drive with a postmarketOS Duranium experimental ISO into my laptop and it did part of the install before I realized what was happening.
