A pop up dialogue box shown when first accessing the Cambridge Dictionary website is titled "We Care About Your Privacy". A large paragraph of text below begins "We and our 673 partner(s) store and access personal data, like browsing data or unique identifiers, on your device. Selecting I Accept enables tracking technologies to support the purposes shown under we and our partners process data to provide."

A separate section below is titled "We and our partners process data to provide". The text that follows reads: "Use precise geolocation data. Actively scan device characteristics for identification. Store and/or access information on a device. Personalised advertising and content, advertising and content measurement, audience research and services development."

Below this is a link to a "List of Partners (vendors)", and two buttons: "Show Purposes" and "I Accept".
