#eMudhra admits they’ve got something to hide. Something they’re only willing to discuss behind closed doors. And only with Mozilla and “other major Browser Trust Programs”.
To me this reads like #eMudhra kindly asking to have their remaining RSA root CA cert finally removed from all trust stores.

Want to locate every file on your machine that still contains the problematic AAA or eMuhdra CAs? Here’s a ripgrep command line:
Scans for the public keys (or modulus of the RSA CA) in binary and a prefix of the public key in base64.

Heute bringt das Radio eine Meldung über die PHP-Verwundbarkeit.
Unsere Genossen aus der Technik bei Hostsharing haben die gepatchten PHP-Versionen auf unserer Cooperative Community Cloud bereits gestern kurz nach 16.00 Uhr ausgerollt.
Dabei wurden auch gleich neue Zertifikate eingespielt. Der eMudhra Skandal ist ja bei der ganzen PHP-Aufregung fast untergegangen.

Wichtig auch: “Einen vergleichbaren Vorfall gab es bisher noch nie.” So genau wissen wir noch nicht, was daran noch alles dranhängen wird.
Naja, immerhin erdet so ein kleiner Zahlen-F*ckup immer wieder, weil irgendwelche scheinbar übermächtigen KI-Agenten dann doch nicht unser aktuell größtes Problem sind #emudhra
So. Jetzt machen wir mal eine Liste mit integrierten Truststores, die oft alle vergessen werden, die aber vielleicht nicht unwichtig sind:

I’d straight-up dare #emudhra to run the Utimaco HSM Simulator on a lousy laptop and call the result an “HSM.”
[#emudhra] Keys were generated in hardware and the hardware in use was Ultimaco HSMs.

Does someone happen to own Utimaco HSM devices? If so: Can you please generate an ECDSA P-384 key pair and share the public part?
