Steps I used to get Unity Hub and Unity Editor working on Arch Linux:
Download the deb fileExtract data.tar.zst from inside the deb fileInstall libxml2-legacyRun the unityhub binaryIf you experience flickering, ensure a supported GPU is being used (e.g., run with DRI_PRIME=1 for nvidia)You might also need to use -force-wayland as an argument to the unityhub binaryHopefully this is helpful to someone!
well the Unity Hub itself works and it downloads the editor, but doesn’t launch it properly
running from the terminal shows nothing
anyone who does #Unity #GameDev on Linux know how to fix this? or like a hint in the right direction? I have Unity running on Windows anyway if I must use that, but my Linux computer is a lot more powerful, so hopefully I can figure that out and it doesn’t cause too many problems for me
