Die Wissenschaft hat der Gesellschaft und dem Menschen zu dienen. Deswegen muss sie die Tech-Oligarchie und den Faschismus als Gefahren für unsere Gesellschaften und die Demokratie thematisieren. Die Wissenschaft muss sie aber auch bekämpfen, weil beide - der Faschismus sowieso, aber auch die Technik und Forschung glorifizierende Tech-Oligarchie - die Vernunft und damit die Wissenschaft selbst angreifen.
Science must serve society and humanity. That is why it must analyse the tech oligarchy and fascism as threats to our societies and to democracy. But science also needs to fight against them, because both—fascism, of course, but also the tech oligarchy, which extols technology and research—attack reason and, thereby, science itself.
