Am 6. August 1991 ging die erste Webseite der Geschichte online. Kein Launch-Event, keine Pressemitteilung – nur ein Physiker am CERN, ein NeXT-Computer und ein handgeschriebener Zettel: „DO NOT POWER IT DOWN!!”
Aus diesem einen Server wurden 35 Jahre später über 1,1 Milliarden Websites und mehr als 6 Milliarden Internetnutzer weltweit.
