I also wanted to implement some optional or new #OIDC aspects, in particular enforcement of phishing-resistant authentication using RFC8176 Auth Method Reference and proprietary #MicrosoftEntra Conditional Access AuthContext.
Also a fully-automated testing pipeline with live #OPNsense, #Keykloak, and #Authentik instance is something I am really exciteted about!
On that way multiple minor improvements went into the OPNsense core project as well so everyone wins 🙃
Last weekend I felt like starting to implement a full OpenID Connect plugin for #OPNsense so the integration to my #Authentik instance becomes more natural, reliable, and secure.
The first beta looks very promising to me and is already feature complete I shall say. Bugs, of course, are included but anyway, it supports over 20 IdP’s out of the box, including all major social media sign-in providers so running your own IdP becomes optional! 🎉
The single-key shortcuts pause while you type, and are off on phones and tablets.
