I’d really love to see a personal note feature on #vutuv. Early Xing had it, Mastodon has it. I don’t use it that often, but it’s a killer feature for social networking. It’s not always easy to remember the exact circumstances how I met and why I link/follow to another account. The personal notes section is really helpful in that regard.
I am open for new ideas but … what do you exactly mean by personal notes? Can you add a screenshot or a description?
Sure. E.g. on Mastodon (Fosstodon), if you visit a user profile page, you can select “Add a personal note (Visible only to you)” option. You can add any text you want.
I made two screenshots to showcase a potential use case. :-)

Es fehlt an der einen oder anderen Stelle noch etwas UI Feinschliff, aber das reiche ich Stück für Stück nach. Wie immer: Lob, Kritik und weitere Ideen sind immer willkommen.
