What would you do if your own city was drugging you into laziness?

Zayn had not slept in three days. From the rooftop of the old textile mill, he watched the merchants of Veridion move as if their bones were filled with honey. A cart had overturned last week—a boy trapped beneath—and a dozen people watched. No one moved to help. No one except Zayn.

That night, he decided to run. Not away from Veridion. But straight into its heart.

This is the opening scene from my new tactical novella, “The Last Spark.” It’s a 15‑minute read about breaking the fog of hesitation—no magic, no romance, just raw action and the algebra of endurance.

Here’s my question to you: Have you ever felt your environment—your city, your job, even your social circle—subtly pushing you towards stillness? What was the first physical step you took to break out?

If this resonates, I’ve put a free preview (the first three chapters) so you can taste the tension before buying.

I’d genuinely love to read your personal “fog‑breakers” in the comments.

**When books try to *”teach”* you vs. when they *”make you feel”* the lesson.**

I’m a writer, not a guru. I don’t give advice – I build worlds where the character has to earn their wisdom through sweat and failure.

I just published the first of these worlds: ***”The Last Spark”*** – a 15‑minute novella about a man who shatters the fog of collective procrastination without a single spell or sword. It comes with a practical log to turn his struggle into your own routine.

I’ve put a **free preview** (first two chapters) on the product page so you can see if it resonates before buying anything. No pressure at all.

If you are tired of self‑help books that lecture you, this might be a refreshing change.

**Your morning routine is either a fortress or a swamp.**

I’ve studied the habits of people who sustain high output without burning out. The common factor isn’t motivation – it’s *non-negotiable anchors.*

An anchor is a single action you do at the exact same time every day, regardless of mood. For one writer, it’s making coffee and opening the document before he’s fully awake. For a soldier I read about, it’s lacing his boots before he even looks at his phone.

These anchors bypass the decision-fatigue that kills momentum. They are the *”sparks”* that ignite the rest of the day.

**What is your single, non-negotiable morning anchor?**
