Luku.app now has profiles. I’m wondering whether I should finally add Fediverse or ActivityPub support in some form.

Side note: I know Bookwyrm exists, but I don’t want my “reading/book account” to be a full instance. At least not yet, or in the traditional form. I have the same issue with having a Pixelfed account or another fediverse account for specific categories of content. I think it kinda limits users.

Here’s how I imagine it working: I could share a book or review from whatever account I’m using, for example my main Mastodon account. Those discussions and comments would then link to the app. The person shouldn’t be divided across accounts.
