📐 Diagrams as Code trifft KI: Diagramme pflegen statt zeichnen
Während meiner Vorbereitung auf den und im Kurs 🎓 zum Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (IREB, FL) habe ich Diagramme deutlich intensiver und auch aus einer anderen Perspektive kennengelernt. Besonders spannend war es, anhand von User Stories eigene Diagramme zu interpretieren und auch zu erstellen – so wurde schnell klar, wie stark eine gute Visualisierung das gemeinsame Verständnis verbessert. 🧩
Auch in der Zusammenarbeit mit Git und GitLab konnte ich mit Mermaid experimentieren. Der Vorteil gegenüber MS Visio oder draw.io liegt für mich klar in der Versionierung: Diagramme liegen als Text im Repository, sind im Diff nachvollziehbar und lassen sich direkt mit dem Code weiterentwickeln. 🔄
Daher war die Folge mit Jacqui Read für mich besonders interessant: Genau um diese Verbindung ging es – und um den Einsatz von KI:
🛠️ #PlantUML, Mermaid und Structurizr haben unterschiedliche Stärken
🧩 Structurizr bietet ein Modell hinter den Diagrammen und unterstützt konsistente Sichten
🤖 KI kann Diagramme erstellen, konvertieren und korrigieren – aber kein Ersatz für Fachwissen sein
⚠️ Zu allgemeine Prompts führen schnell zu Halluzinationen; präzise Fragen und Review bleiben entscheidend
📊 C4 zeigt Struktur, Sequenz- und Aktivitätsdiagramme kommunizieren Verhalten
📝 Diagramme können in Spec-driven Development Kontext liefern und das Verständnis validieren
Mein Fazit: Diagrams as Code macht Architektur-Kommunikation wartbarer, und KI kann den Weg dorthin beschleunigen. Vertrauen entsteht aber nicht durch den Output – sondern durch Prüfung. ✅
Und: Hier gibt es bei mir auch noch mehr Potential zu lernen Diagramme selber zu erstellen. Nur so kann ich das Ergebnis einer KI auch überprüfen 😉

Non so se avete letto la storia delle alternative ad #Adobe scritte in Rust con l’#AI.
Non capisco la sorpresa del fatto che ci siano bug. Dai davvero vi aspettavate che fosse già pronto e 100% compatibile?
Lo “sviluppatore” inizialmente aveva annunciato che in un mese per sarebbe arrivato a sviluppare le restanti features. Poi ha detto un anno (che già mi sembra più fattibile).
Mi sembrano tempi anche corti.
Come si fa a criticare.
So, of course, as more people use AI & associated technologies to make job applications, so employers deluged with applications are using AI to sort, long list candidates.
But, as we might expect, it transpires that AI prefers applications written with the aid of AI, being ‘impressed’ by the forms of claim an AI-aided CV includes.
Its classic ‘enshittification’, making the process less efficient, as humans need to intervene, and more, not less time consuming.

KI wird nicht alle unsere Aufgaben (über)nehmen. Momentan. Was sie aber jetzt schon kann: Uns in unserer Arbeit unterstützen. Dies wird in diesem Artikel meines Erachtens praxisnah verdeutlicht. Was es aber braucht: Prompts müssen sehr gut und spezifisch formuliert sein und es muss ein gewisser Kontext mitgegeben werden. Den Menschen braucht es im Review Prozess immer noch, der die Ergebnisse kritisch prüft und hinterfragt.

For years I’ve been giving a lecture on ethics in AI and our relationships with machines. Your point about projecting interpretations is so spot on it had me raising my fist when I read it. 😂
In discussions after my talks, people have often asked about empathy/emotions in machines. I always note that we’re looking at it the wrong way. There can be a genuine exchange of emotion, but it’s in how we view the exchange, not how the machine views it.
I think that’s where folks generally confuse their own emotions with what they perceive are emotions emanating from software.

you can’t tell Adobe “lol get rekt” when the models you’re using (especially Opus which is LITERALLY owned by Claude) belong to equally awful, data hungry corporations whose purpose is to enshittify everything.
